Due to the slight wear, this book is rated VERY GOOD, which is a book that has been used and exhibits small signs of normal wear from use.  The only odor is slight, smells like aged paper, not unpleasant. The dust jacket is not included.  The covers are typically worn as a handled book nearly 70 years old, with one two inch length of the spine crease showing excessive abrasion (see pic #8). Some sporadic light age-related spotted occasionally throughout the pages.  One area of page edge has a blotchy mark as can be viewed in the picture (see pic #7). End boards show some wear, principally in the form of color variation. Binding is somewhat loose compared to when new, but there is no cracking, tearing or excessive separation.
