Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the classic silent film drama/romance, THE SON OF THE SHEIK, released in 1926 by United Artists and directed by George FitzmauriceRudolph Valentino stars in his final film appearance due to his untimely death at the age of 31. The son of the Sheik and a beautiful dancing girl fall in love but when he is made to believe that she has betrayed him, he seeks his revenge.

The image features an exterior close shot of handsome young Sheik Ahmed (Rudolph Valentino) as he gazes off-camera cheek-to-cheek with the beautiful dancing girl, Yasmin (Vilma Banky), as they lovingly hold hands. This vintage copy  photograph, which was most likely printed in the 1950's or possibly earlier, is in fine- condition with a light vertical crease down the entire width near the right border (it does not affect Miss Banky's image) and a few small scratches in the upper right background area. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
