Antique Shaker storage box in great original red paint. The box is delicate, as is typical of the Shakers, and the boards are  only about 3/8" thick. The box is nicely dovetailed and also has early nails in the construction. It's in good condition for the age, but does have some minor issues. One dovetail is missing, another broken. there is a divot and another break where there may have been hinges for a lid at one time. A beautiful box regardless, with great construction and the delicate features of a Shaker item. The measurements of the box are 16" long, 8" wide, and about 7" tall. Beautiful paint!
