Cover looks great; light scuffing and creasing where shrink has loosened - along opening edge and near back bottom left as well as a few other small areas (front/back). Inner-sleeve is plastic. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. Ever Reddy logo "ER" on the right bottom edge of back cover. (Not a cut-out.)
Chariots of Fire, is the musical score for the British film of the same name, which won four Academy Awards including Best Picture and Original Music Score. The music is by Greek electronic composer Vangelis (credited as Vangelis Papathanassiou). The album topped Billboard 200 for 4 weeks. The opening theme of the film (called Titles on the album track listing but widely known as Chariots of Fire) was released as a single in 1981, and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for one week after, climbing steadily for five months (it made No. 1 in its 21st week on the chart). Titles also reached No. 12 in the United Kingdom, where its parent album peaked at No. 5 and spent 107 weeks on the album chart. The single also peaked at No. 21 in Australia on the Australian Singles Chart.
