Description
Up for offer is this spectacular antique lavalier Pendant - it tests 10k gold, the chain tests 10k but the clasp may be gold filled. It measures 1 9/16 inches tall including the bail. The lavalier holds a stunning pear shaped sapphire that measures about 7mm tall and just under 4mm wide - approximately 3/4ct. The baroque seed pearls are about 1.75mm in diameter but are all slightly baroque - the one at the bottom of the pear shaped sapphire is rounder than the rest and has likely been replaced. There are 33 half drilled baroque pearls and one small pearl that is prong set in the center of the bottom piece. Several pearls have a bit of nacre wear as would be expected for age.
