Each HID Kit includes a digital ultra-compact ballast, Xenon gas filled bulbs, easy plug and play connectors and a bright 35W bulb offered in 3 different bulb temperatures.

In the market for a different HID Kit for your motorcycle? Choose from a wide variety of HID Kits with bulb temperatures including: 6000K, 8000K and 10000K. With light being given off in a range from white at 6000K, to white with a hint of blue at 8000K and an even deeper blue at 10000K, riders can sport a variety of looks on their custom bike.

In comparison to the ballasts and separated igniter boxes included with other HID Kits, each HID Kit from Sixty61 comes with one of the newest combined ballast and igniter sets on the market. Our single piece ballast and igniter box makes it simple for riders to install a new HID Kit on their custom motorcycle without having to worry about finding a place hide away both a large ballast and separated igniter box offered with other HID Kits. KAWASAKI HID KIT COLORS ARE AVAILABLE AS FOLLOWS:
6000 Kelvin: 6,000 Kelvin is almost pure white, but has a very faint tint of blue. HID lamps with this rating have a very high performance, and give off the most visible light. This color is very popular as an aftermarket option.
8000 Kelvin: HID lamps with an 8,000 Kelvin rating give off a pale blue light. As a default this is the kelvin rating that most of the luxury vehicles will use (BMW, Audi, Lexus etc). This is the more popular choice to allow the most light output with more blue tones than the 6000 Kelvin bulbs.
10,000 Kelvin: HID bulbs with a 10,000 Kelvin rating give off a deep blue light. The brightness, and the performance of the lamp as a light source is significantly lower than a 6000 Kelvin lamp.

QUESTION: WHAT MAKES UP OUR MOTORCYCLE HID KITS?

ANSWER: An HID (High Intensity Discharge) refers to lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb area. A normal halogen bulb uses a filament which burns out in as little as normally 250 hours. Our HID bulbs are gas filled capsules that are rated for a lifespan of almost 4000 hours. Our HID bulbs also shine a lot brighter due to this great technology.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN HALOGEN VERSUS HID KITS

ANSWER: Unlike halogen bulbs, HID's emit a type of light that which closely appears like natural daylight and is therefore easier on the human eyesight. In fact, HID lights are currently used in most SPORTS arenas, stadiums, and train stations around the world. Don't allow yourself to be fooled by lower end Xenon replica bulbs, that are sold at area retail stores. These Xenon style bulbs are not even close to the intensity, purity, and efficiency of high intensity discharge HID bulbs. Remember that HID bulbs higher than 8000 Kelvin rating are not D.O.T. approved.

ANSWER: Color temperature is most often used to describe the hue of a light source. This has been based on experiments conducted by physicist William Kelvin. Mr Kelvin, heated carbon which gave off different colored light as it grew hotter.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE MEANING OF HID?

ANSWER: HID (High Intensity Discharge) lights are high-powered headlamps with warm and cool colors. If your HID bulbs are placed in the wrong headlamps there will be glare in some parts of the beam pattern and insufficient light in others, making them dangerous and possibly illegal.
