The Haunting Music Collection CDs - used but in good and working condition.
10 CD set in a 10 CD Album Case
From Halloween Artists, Jim Stevens, Mike Loonan, Pocco Braton, Jerry Jones, and Topper Anthony
A one of a kind music collection with a huge range of styles. All CDs are quite different, and can be sampled with the youtubes below. Each demo fades between sections of the different tracks. Enough to give you a good idea of the contents of these CDs. Recorded on Factory Produced CDrs by Hollywood area studio:
AGRESSIVE RECORDS Duplication and Recording Company.
Below are 13 youtube demos, of the 11 CDs enclosed...WHAT????????????? READ CAREFULLY
Volume 13 is a free one, the set comes with 10 + an 11th that is free. Thriller has the most variety of all the CDS and therefore has been demo'd as three separate youtubes, that represent the Halloween Thriller CD. There are a handful of extremely rare sets which have Thriller Broken into 3 CDS, where each track plays for a little longer. So if you end up getting, 13 CDs, not 11, you are one of the owners of this very very rare set. We currently have only a few left of any of the CDs left, since people moved to Digital Files. Finally, if this rare collection becomes popular again, we reserve the right to fill orders with our remaining silver stock. We no longer possess a labeler, and you may indeed get CDs that have a Sharpie Mark near the center of the original Album Number. Since Vim and Brian quit just after we first began marketing the CDs, Volume 1 and 3, will not appear. The volume number was applied in the order that completed CD masters were supplied to Outrageous Media.
NOTICE of variation on print. The CDs were done over different years, between 1998 and 2005. They DO NOT always look the same. Though part of this collection, at times Artists supplied required labelling, and at times it was Text Only. Furthermore, depending upon the - - well - - Trade Tariffs with China, not all CDrs are the same surface color. Look at my photos, KNOW THE RANGE!!! And understand it is thee music you want, not the Transport Medium.
History of this Music, and under that are the samples. Each CD is around 45 minutes, and I don't have exact timing because that does not matter. The Haunting Music Collection was first created by Jon Hyers in 1998, Hyers being the founder and father of Virtual FX, later called Digital Decor by "copiers" of Hyers concept, who did not want to give him credit and otherwise PRETEND they invented it, therefore making up their own name. The music collection was FOUND initially and COMPOSED FOR in later Albums. FOUND? Music that was in existence by local Minneapolis/St. Paul area musicians who had scored inde films, provided music for TV shows, and otherwise experimented with their syths and other instruments. The Music Collection was originally released in Black and White covers, because of it's classic appearance. It saved cash on color ink, and was never produced any other way, with exception of a few artists who had already duplicated their CDs in color. [ not included in this set].
Selling anything without a major distributor is hard, and Hyers operating with a tiny $4000 investment that ONLY paid for mailings to retailers, did his best by selling at Halloween Trade shows, first in 1999. Two musician groups quit almost immediately, in the first couple of years...finding that NO sales on their own, were better than some guy Working Hard trying to sell their stuff!!!! Within 1 month of the 2nd guy quitting, Outrageous Media's Music got picked up by a major distributor and sold strong for 5 years!
With the increase of more and more people doing their own music, sales slowed down. And around 2010, focus was put on Outrageous Media's Virtual FX, and now we offer the music to a new generation of Halloween Decorators......
