This fits 2003 models so equipped & MAYBE SOME NISSAN MAXIMA, BUT you must match these numbers - A56-U84 E44 ..... If you don't see that number (s), this is not your computer (CAREFUL, there are several for each model year, you MUST verify this). Do NOT worry about the '3116' that is just a production date code, ..........VIN# from this car: JNKDA31A63T111631 pro-dated 1/03 NOTE; Immobilizer equipped so you must either have a dealer Initialize it to your car using the Vin# supplied, OR, save the trip and do it all yourself by replacing your key chip & matching immobilizer with what I'm including (see pics) This setup is ideal for those who do not have a dealer nearby or available, and can save on towing charges if your car is no longer running. The key shown may not match the key you have now (you may have the one w/ the black chip holder) but the chip WILL look like yours and will fit into your existing key (OR, make it a point to have one made for your Vin# without programming)...... Catalyst code - 6Y300 NOTE: IT IS TRICKY TO SWAP THE CHIP FROM THE 'LATER' MODELS WITH THE BLACK COVER, the earlier ones, like this, had a blue cover where the chip was and they were easy to pry out of the head.... the ones with the black cover over the chip are glued in place and are tricky to get out without destroying either the key head, the chip, or both.
