Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight matte copy photograph (not a vintage original photo that was printed at the time it was taken) from the popular 1920's silent film action comedy/romance, THE MOLLYCODDLE, released in 1920 by United Artists and directed by Victor Fleming. Douglas Fairbanks stars as an American who has lived much of his life outside the country and returns to Arizona for the first time in years and encounters villainy.

The image features that of one of the film's original glass slides and depicts a close shot of Richard Marshall (Douglas Fairbanks) with his arm around the shoulder of Virginia Hale (Ruth Renick) as they both look at what she is holding. It is in fine+ condition with some scattered unobtrusive creases in the image area; a few creases on the top border near the right corner; and light signs of wear on the edge of the bottom border near the right corner.

This was one of the few films in which Douglas Fairbanks did not perform most of his own stunts. Shortly after filming began, he badly hurt his wrists while attempting a running mount of a horse; the animal got spooked and took off just as he was jumping on her. Veteran stuntman Richard Talmadge, who had previously doubled for Fairbanks in other films for stunts that the studio deemed too dangerous for him to perform, was hired as Fairbanks' stunt double for most of the stunts in this film.
