Temperature regulating. Camel wool filled comforters help regulate body temperature. The camel wool batting is sewn to the covers and stays in place assuring uniform distribution of wool without cold spots. Thermostatic properties of camel hair regulate temperature under all thermal conditions. They make human body warmer in cold temperatures and cooler in warm temperatures. This is how Mongolian camels got adapted to extreme temperature fluctuations in the desert where the temperature ranges from 100 degrees in summer to minus 40 degrees in winter with snow atop dunes. Wool comforters are recommended for those who experience night sweats or hot flashes.

Breathable. Carded wool is very porous and allows air to flow through the comforter keeping your skin warm and dry.

Moisture wicking. Wool can absorb sweat up to 30% of its own weight liquid without feeling damp or losing its insulating properties. It dissipates the moisture into the air keeping the skin dry and warm.

Hypoallergenic. Camel wool comforters are an ideal solution for those who are allergic to polyester or other artificial fibers. Wool sanitized with non-toxic detergent. Wool comforters are dust-mite resistant. The camel wool batting is encased in a dense fabric that prevents shedding.

Antibacterial. Wool comforters are naturally antibacterial and does not have to be cleaned as often.

Soft, fluffy & light. Camel wool is more durable and lighter than lambswool. Compared to goose down, wool comforters have no poking/flying feathers and filling does not shift like it does in feather filled comforters. Unlike down, wool comforters don’t involve killing birds. Unlike polyester/down alternative items, wool comforters are antistatic (do not cling to the skin), lighter, temperature regulating, safer (wool is fire proof) and do not harbor dust mites.

Eco-friendly. Manufacturing of polyester/down alternative bedding releases air pollutants while wool is self-renewable resource that does not affect the environment. Moreover, wool is biodegradable and decomposes into natural fertilizer when disposed of at the end of the product’s useful life while synthetics are full of chemicals and clutter landfills for many decades.

Care. These extra weight wool comforters are not machine washable due to their size. Dry clean your comforter if necessary. We recommended that you use your comforter  with a washable duvet cover to keep the comforter clean, protect it from pet hair and extend its life. These comforters have corner loops and can be used with duvet covers that have corner ties. Stains can be removed with water and soap. It is recommended to air these comforters outside once a year.
