MINIATURE ART: SMALL WORKS WITH BIG REWARDS by Jamie Reynolds. Painting miniature pictures can be a boost to one's creativity. In addition to reducing the cost of materials, working on a small scale allows an artist to experiment with many different techniques in one session.

EASTERN IDEAS, WESTERN METHODS by Betsy Schein Goldman. Raised in China and educated in the United States, Victor Wang combines Eastern philosophy with Western working methods to make contemporary figure paintings.
