CAB Comment––This Heritage Press Edition, with slipcase, from 1950 is quite inspired––read the explanation for the book’s cover design, which is based on the first paragraph of the Holmes tale “The Musgrave Ritual”.  Loaded with the most noted Sherlock Holmes tales, this book is stated to be “A Definitive Text”, and is spiced with a plethora of original illustrations that are captioned with title, artist, date, and the publication or periodical in which they appeared.
