The is a vintage 8x10 in. US double-weight matte copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the epic silent film drama, THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE, released in 1921 by Metro Pictures Corporation and directed by Rex Ingram. This was the film that made a star of Rudolph Valentino and led to his casting in Paramount's The Sheik later that same year. The image features a beautiful full-length interior shot of handsome Julio Desnoyers (Rudolph Valentino) wearing a traditional Argentinean-themed outfit as he stands on a staircase inside a cafe as he smokes a cigarette. The lighting is especially well done and creates strong side-lighting on his right side which creates a sense of depth.

Printed on double-weight stock with a matte finish, most likely in the 1930's or possibly 1940's, this vintage copy photograph is in very fine+ condition with a tiny bit of wear on the bottom left corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the image quality is very sharp with fine detail and beautiful contrast.
