This is a vintage 8x10 in. U.S. single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the lavishly-mounted silent film costume drama/romance, MONSIEUR BEAUCAIRE, released in 1924 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Sidney Olcott. The film stars Rudolph Valentino as the Duke de Chartres/ Monsieur Beaucaire.

The image features a dramatic interior medium shot of the handsome Duke de Chartres (Rudolph Valentino) wearing an elaborate period jacket with lace and a sash, as he reaches for his sword while looking intently at someone off-camera. Printed on single-weight stock with a glossy finish, most likely in the 1950's or 1960's, this vintage copy photograph is in very fine condition with a light signs of wear on the bottom right corner. The image quality is sharp with fine detail and nice contrast.
