Athenic by Gorham sterling silver child's bowl and underplate 2-piece set with figural Kate Greenaway girl with leaves. The pieces are marked with #A2681. It is monogrammed "KCK", and on the underside is engraved "Katherine Chatillon Klenke from K.T.C, May 21, 1905". This set features a finely detailed applied young girl wearing a hat sitting among leaves below a flower, in Art Nouveau tradition. The figure of the child alternates - from front view to back view of the child. The bowl measures 2" tall, 5 1/4" wide, and it weighs 5.9 ozt. The plate is 1/4" tall, 7 5/8" wide, and it weighs 7.3 ozt. This set is in excellent condition. Fabulous! SKU#0273.
