Offered for your consideration is this vintage Crystal knife rest that was made in West Germany. It is in excellent, never been used condition.
It is 4 1/2" long ,1" wide on the round ends and has the original sticker as shown in photos.
In the early
days when paper napkins were unheard of people used knife rest to keep
from soiling their table cloths,at first they were made from all sorts
of materials from wood to metal but eventually these lovely crystal ones
were made. This one has a pretty crystal cut pattern that looks like diamond swirls.
If you collect these lovely crystal knife rests I know you would be very pleased with this one in your collection!
