Max Rieg (b.1899-d.1985) was a Bauhaus trained German emigre active circa 1928 who created modern design jewelry. He was part of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. He sold from the Margaret Hunter Shop beginning in 1937 and he retired sometime in the early 1950s. He is known more for his pewter pieces. His training and artistic flair is shown in this stunning calla lily art nouveau inspired bracelet. Bracelet is 7/8 inches wide and is 7 1/2 inches long with shepherd hook type clasp and also has a safety chain. During research I didn't find any two of his pieces the same. No condition issues noted
