Process Control Connectivity – The PANTHER
terminal can be integrated with process control equipment through a variety of methods, including discrete I/O, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog output, Allen-Bradley RIO®, Modbus
Plus®, PROFIBUS®, and DeviceNet®.
Flexible Uses – Select standard weighing,
batch process weighing or manual checkweighing. Built-In Setpoints – Built-in setpoints can be
used to create hybrid automated control systems or for batch process and filling applications. Adjustable Filtering – The PANTHER terminal
includes the METTLER TOL EDO exclusive TraxDSP® vibration rejection and superior
noise filtering, which can be adjusted to minimize response time and get stable weights even when the scale has a mixer or agitator mounted on it. Hazardous Area Applications – The PANTHER
terminal can interface with scale bases used in hazardous areas when installed with appropriate barriers. The panel-mount analog load cell version has been Factory Mutual approved for use in Division 2 and Zone 2 areas. This version has also been KEMA certified as a Category 3 G/D device for use in Zone 2
