THE WIND FROM NOWHERE by J.G. Ballard Berkley Books, First U.S. Publication, 1962 Condition: Good+ Ballard's first novel is also his most conventional -- about a worldwide killing wind. This first U. S. edition is becoming very scarce (at time of listing, there were no copies available on Amazon). This copy has a cocked spine, a short closed split and chipping at the spine bottom and a small chip at the top, modest edge/corner wear and very light front cover creasing; else, tight binding, no writing or markings and just light toning on pages.
Ballard's 2nd novel, THE DROWNED WORLD, is also available from this booth.
