Two (2) cards of four (4) Buttons to a card, Costumakers # 1455 Yellow Plastic Buttons. Made in Japan, date not stated. Size 28. Costumakers was first used as a brand name in June, 1945. Their buttons were made in the early 1950s in Western Germany. They were purchased by Blumenthal in 1981. I am placing these buttons in the late 1950s.
Still attached to their original cards, these unused buttons are in excellent condition except for one with a deep scratch. The cards have age, tanning, foxing, bent corners, dents and creases. The backs of the cards are blank.
Button Description
Plastic buttons are three-dimensional in the shape of a stepped pyramid with the top leveled off. They are 9/16 inch wide and ¼ inch tall, without the shank. The yellow plastic forms the shank. The buttons are unused. There are places in the button that are translucent which makes me think they may be Lucite. The closest to the true color are the buttons in the top row on the right hand card. These buttons are very shiny. These are all the same color. They are just reflecting the light differently.

All buttons are vintage items and sold...AS IS. Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously. I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase.
Buttons comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and are shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert or in a padded mailer depending upon the buttons. The zip bag is great for storing the buttons!
