SERGEANT YORK AND HIS PEOPLE
by Sam K. Cowan
Grosset & Dunlap, n.d. (1941)
Condition: VG+ in Good+ dust jacket
SERGEANT YORK was originally published in 1922; Warner Brothers filmed it in 1941 with Gary Cooper (on jacket), who won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance. This is a nice copy of the movie edition (with yellowed pages, as usual), and a name and bookplate on the ffep). The DJ has tears and chips, mostly along the top edge, but most of the jacket is in decent shape.
