PRECISIONIST, a 2003 Hall of Fame inductee, displayed unusual versatility in his racing career, winning 6 Grade I races from 6 furlongs to 1-1/4 miles. Campaigned by owner-breeder Fred Hooper, the powerful chestnut CROZIER horse secured divisional honors as champion sprinter with a 2-1/2 length win in the 1985 Breeders' Cup Sprint (Gr. I) at Aqueduct. He also won at both 1-1/8 and 1-1/4 miles on several occasions throughout his career. Tough and durable, PRECISIONIST retired with 20 wins from 46 starts and earnings of $3,485,398.
