CONDITION:  Maroon cloth on boards with gilt stamped decoration on front board; **Rebound - spine recased in modern maroon buckram with new end-papers added to front & rear; spine cover lightly spotted; edges of boards worn; front board buckling; boards securely attached & text block tight; 3" tear on map with old paper repair on back side; edges of title page, frontispiece & original front end-papers chipped with small tears; small stain on fore-edge of front free end-paper; contents age toned; small stains & foxing spots scattered throughout text; .
