Synopsis: Sci-fi Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot like action hero that harkens back  to the days of Buck Rogers  and Flash Gordon. Hikaru Azuma (Mitsugi) takes a balloon ride with his parents that an Andromeda spacecraft causes to crash and kills the parents.  The alien occupants the Esper Seijin are remorseful for what they have done and decide to possess the bodies of Hikaru's parents so he is not left alone. The Espers know of an impending invasion by Alien Giron so they use telepathy to assist  Professor Asakawa  (Hosokawa) to complete a super jet suit giving him the knowledge to create the  Light Speed Esper , Hikaru’s impenetrable suit contains a rocket pack of gadgetry and weapons that allows  him to zoom around the world, go undersea, into space, miniaturize, use a laser space gun & a radar protective video communication helmet and a super space car.
