A pane of 16 Forever Stamps honoring the 50th anniversary of the most influential and beloved children's television show, 'Sesame Street'.

Since the first episode on November 10, 1969, 'Sesame Street series has provided education programming and entertainment that most of us grew up with. The show's golden anniversary will be held in 10 cities across the United States on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 930am EST in Detroit, Michigan.

The 16 Muppet characters are showcased: Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Cookie Monster, Rosita, The Count, Oscar the Grouch, Abby Cadabby, Herry Monster, Julia, Guy Smiley, Snuffleupagus, Elmo, Telly, Grover, and Zoe. Images of 9 of the characters are shown on the right side of the pane under the iconic 'Sesame Street' sign. The back of the pane displays the Sesame Street 50th Anniversary artwork.
