"TALES OF TZAR SALTAN" by  Dmitriy Rogatov

  This is a lacquer box painted by the Fedoskino artist Dimitry Rogatov. This is a work painted by him in 2016 now has decided to sell it. Dimitry is the younger brother of the artist Sergey Rogatov who boxes sell for several thousands of dollars. Dimitry is a graduate of Fedoskino School of Russian Lacquer Miniatures the second oldest school of the four lacquer box art schools.

                                                   Rogatov Dmitriy Viktorovich was born in 1956.
                                                    He has finished Fedoskino Art School in 1975.

                                                        His teachers were Frolov and Pashinin.
                                              Member of the Union of Russian Artists since 2001.
                                                       Participant of Exhibitions since 1977.

The lacquer box is completely hand painted and signed by the artist Dmitriy Rogatov.

The size of the box is 7 x 6 x 4 inches ( 17 x15 cm x 10cm).
