Item description for Enesco Brownie Porcelain Figurine and Kitty Cat Pin Brooch Girl Scout 1950-60's

Up for bid is a Porcelain Enesco Girl Scout Brownie leaning on her elbows and a very cute 1960s Uniformed “ Brownie “ Holding a Kitty Plastic Pin. You are bidding on both items together.

1. The Porcelain Figurine is in a Brownie Girl Scout Uniform, estimated 1950s to early 1960's. Sometimes used for decorating cakes, they were made for display. Measures 3 ¼ inches long (l to r) and about 1 3/4" tall to top of head. Very good condition, small specks of loss in her bangs and feet. This figurine is quite RARE since four poses were made and none of them were considered "alike".
The figurines are rarely in the Girl Scout Catalogs, but collectors generally have them as part of their collection. There are four positions, and this one is resting on her arms, legs and stomach. These were made by Enesco in Japan. The figurines were "cold painted", first painted all tan and then the features and details are painted by hand after it is fired. It is not fired a second time making them quite fragile and possible loss of paints.

2. Rare Brownie Pin, all plastic with metal pin (clasp is plastic). This is a little blonde Brownie uniformed girl with Beanie cap holding a cute kitten/cat. About 1 14/16" tall, very good condition with minor paint wear as shown in pics.

Both items are considered Vintage, have minor flaws but are also over 50 years old estimated based on research. Color difference is due to lighting only.
