LePere Pottery began its operation in 1936 on Glenwood Avenue in Zanesville, Ohio.  LePere is best known for its copper luster ware.  Much of LePere pottery is hand decorated, and many pieces are trimmed with gold. Such is the case with this piece of LePere pottery. This blue piece is in excellent condition and measures approximately 5 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide.  Although it was pre-owned, we did not use it but had it as part of our collection of piggy banks.   (We have white one posted also but this blue one is slightly lighter in weight than that one - just in case you noticed the difference in shipping cost.)
