These handmade copper hoop earrings have wire wrapped blue bicone crystal and blue glass dagger bead dangles. These hoops are much easier to put on than standard wire hoops with the closure just behind the piercing. Thread these hoops onto the piercing just like ear hooks and the dangle provides the weight to keep the opening at the bottom so they do not fall off. This is a versatile and simple design suitable for any occasion.

Copper - I use natural 100% copper wire to create copper jewelry items. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
