Edward Gorey Poster Print Poster for The Mikado Wall Art Decor 2009
Please Note
Colours may vary very slightly from the sample photo as every computer monitor will be calibrated or set up differently. Also this was taken with a scanner so the distribution of colour might vary very slightly.
This large poster is too big for my A4 scanner, as a solution I have taken 2 scans
one of each half of the poster! So if you see a line across the picture you now know,
that it is not a fault on the print.
This Edward Gorey reproduction Print is a licensed Product, 2009 The Edward Gorey Charitable Trust. Published Under License.

Welcome To My sale!
This is a brand-new publication, not a remake of Gorey Posters (Abrams, 1979), now long out of print.
Edward St. John Gorey (February 22, 1925 – April 15, 2000) was an American writer and artist noted for his illustrated books. His characteristic pen-and-ink drawings often depict vaguely unsettling narrative scenes in Victorian and Edwardian settings.
This sale is for a superb Edward Gorey reproduction poster print, This is a licensed Product, 2009 The Edward Gorey Charitable Trust. Published Under License.

Your Edward Gorey poster print comes carefully sealed in a (alkali free) crystal cellophane sleeve and protected by a A3 rigid, board backed envelope.
This item ships promptly, securely packaged, and comes from my smoke free home.
The page size is approx: 26cm x 38cm, (10-1/4" x 15") inches.
Gorey's illustrated (and sometimes wordless) books, with their vaguely ominous air and ostensibly Victorian and Edwardian settings, have long had a cult following. He made a notable impact of the world of theater with his designs for the 1977 Broadway revival of Dracula, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Costume Design and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design.
In 1980, Gorey became particularly well known for his animated introduction to the PBS series Mystery! In the introduction of each Mystery! episode, host Vincent Price would welcome viewers to "Gorey Mansion".
