Straight from the 1950's, is a very lovely vintage barkcloth panel, in rich colors of beige, tan, brown, black, green, and apricot. These soft '50's colors called out to me to rescue them, and bring them back to their former state of usefulness.
This panel measures about 25" wide at the pleated top, and 42" wide at the bottom. It is 81" long, with a 3 1/2" hem at the bottom.
There were no holes, tears, or wear, noted on the panel.
This is a medium weight cotton barkcloth panel, in the true 'nubby' type of barkcloth, from which this fabric got it's name! It reminds me of the cozy '50's livingroom, complete with corduroy sofa, chair, and barkcloth pillows.
This lovely pleated barkcloth curtain panel has been washed, and then dried outside in the fresh air, ready for your use. It would look nice as a curtain pulled back in a doorway, or covering a closet. It could also be used to make a shorter pair of curtains, pillows, barkcloth quilt, or other handcrafted items.
A really unique bit of textile history, this Woodland Barkcloth Drape, will add a nice soft touch of vintage to your home. It will look great in a country, cottage style, or 1950's decor.
