Chapter 1:  "You do feel sick!" the man said, watching her closely. Jimmy Satterlee widened rather heavy eyes at him unsmilingly. "No, not sick," she asserted with some little difficulty. "You feel rotten!" he persisted with concern. "No, I don't. No. I don't." She arrested his movement toward helping her to rise with the fingers of one fine hand against his coat sleeve.
