The red cover with black lettering shows some edge wear. The jacket has a name written on the front, several edge tears and a loss on the back bottom edge. Acceptable in poor dust-jacket. Hardcover.
When 12 year old Jet Stockwell and his family said good-by to their home and climbed into the covered wagon that was to take them to their new homestead in the West, they set out on a journey that was beset with hardships as well as adventures. But they were not alone, for 20 families made the long trek together across prairies and mountains, forming a stream of covered wagons or "prairie ships," as Jet liked to call them. .11 (#000022)
