Synopsis: Classic Murder Mystery. Elizabeth Howard (Russell) is hired to care of two spoiled children who believe the house next door is haunted. Their father (McCrea) believes the children have made up the story. Elizabeth finds out that the children have befriended a  person she believes to be a murderer, as she begins to understand that the house next door truly does hold a dark secret.
