For sale is my authentic Bottega Veneta Intagli Veneta, ebano color, medium size, with original dust cover and cards.  I purchased this item myself from the Bottega Veneta boutique in Massachusetts.  I carried it only a few times, with great care (see more details on condition below).

The Intagli Veneta was a special-edition Veneta produced in 2007.  As a special edition, the original price was about $1780, which was above the price of the standard nappa Venetas.  For reference, a standard nappa medium ebano Veneta now retails for $1780.

The Intagli Veneta leather was dyed with chestnut bark, resulting in subtle tonal variations in the dark brown color.  Adding to the multi-dimensional appeal is the embossed or semi-perforated texture of the fettuce.  Please see my additional photos (link below) for more views of this special leather treatment.

The bag has had an incredible soft drape since day one--it has a "squishier" and more pliable hand than standard nappa Venetas.  I've been advised by a friend that it is actually a cervo (deerskin) bag, but my salesperson told me it was nappa (lambskin) leather that was dyed and treated to have the resiliant texture.  Because I am unsure, I am passing along both comments on the leather.

The interior lining is suede, and it is a gorgeous blue!  It creates a stunning contrast with the dark brown exterior.

I have stored the bag flat, inside its original dust cover, inside my closet. My home is pet-free, non-smoking.

The dimensions listed here are based on the Bottega Veneta website's measurements.

Condition: I can recall using this bag perhaps 5 times, only in fine weather (never in rain or snow).  I have never set it down on a questionable surface, and it has never had anything spilled on it or in it.  The interior and exterior are both very clean, with no stains and no damage that I can see (I always used a purse liner to protect the interior).
