Juan, Jose and Vicente started out I their tiny studio in the early 1950’s, creating highly stylized, hand-painted porcelain sculptures reminiscent of El Greco. Today, the Lladro complex, located in the historical city of Valencia on the Mediterranean, to the east of the Levantine capital, is known as “the Porcelain City”. It is there that the fines porcelain sculptures are created.
