Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the popular 1950's romantic comedy HER BRIDAL NIGHT, released in the US in 1958 by Ellis-Lax. Produced in France and released under the translated title The Bride is Much too Beautiful, the film was directed by Pierre Gaspard-Huit. Gorgeous blonde French actress Brigitte Bardot stars as a country girl who is discovered by a Paris magazine and becomes a top model.

The design features a photographic full-length image of Brigitte Bardot showing off her famous figure in a white corset with long stockings that dominates the entire left side. A small vignette at the top depicts Bardot in the arms of her handsome leading man, Louis Jourdan. This US one-sheet was used for theatrical distribution in Quebec, Canada and features a Canadian censor stamp in the top right panel. A theater exhibitor also hand-painted the film's translated French title in English over the printed title. Folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet poster is unrestored and is technically in very fine condition (excluding the painted-over title) without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
