This is an original vintage 1978 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN promotional poster, and is believed to have never been for sale to the public. In small print in the upper left corner, it shows the 1978 Copyright date, and says this Marvel Comics Group promo poster was produced for Xerox Education Publications and Paperback Book Clubs by Davis-Delaney-Arrow, Inc. So it may have been only available to book club members who took part in a special promotion.

This rare 70's Amazing Spiderman Marvel Universe comic book superhero poster measures about 21 by 16 inches and is folded, as nearly all promotional posters are. This is not considered a defect whatsoever. This promotional poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED, it has some minor tanning over the decades, but is otherwise in VERY FINE/NEAR MINT CONDITION!

The artwork on this spectacular old promo poster is probably by silver age artist John Romita Sr, with a possible assist from Big John Buscema, an artist who also made a big impact during the 1960's and 1970's. This description is (C) RLC.
