Extremely Rare Vintage Jeannette Sugar Bowl with Lid

Pattern features black, silver swirls with bright turquoise buds over a white background accented in silver platinum trim. The pattern is the same on the front and back. The top knob on the lid is patterned with silver platinum to resemble a flower. This sugar bowl has a handle on each side.

Marked on the underneath bottom base as Jeannette, Japan, Patt. NO. 5509.

Measures about 6 5/8 inches across from handle to handle and 3 inches in height with the lid on.

In beautiful condition
No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
The patterns are nice and strong with no missing color.
The silver platinum trim is in beautiful condition with no missing color. There is an extra area of silver paint on the top of the knob but this occurred during the manufacturing process.
Minimal markings on the underneath bottom base from sitting on a surface.
Simply gorgeous.
