Great 1960 pattern, from The Duchess of Windsor, Spadea Pattern #11C. Spadea patterns are cut directly from a master pattern which was taken from the original garment. Care was taken to reproduce the original as closely as possible, but in a way that makes the construction doable by the sewer.
The 7-piece pattern is for 3 Different Occasion skirts. -- A trio of skirts for different times of the day. Style I: The Slim silhouette with released pleats at the waist and buttoned overlap at center front. Style II: Presents the "bell" shaped; a skirt molded by long dart-seams on each side, front and back. Style III: The favored pleated skirt, with pleats released at irregular points, forming a pattern from high at front and back to low at the side.
Comes in the Duchess of Windsor pink striped Spadea envelope, one side slit. Pattern in original factory folds complete with instructions. Unused, Uncut.
