R.C.Gorman Inscribed/Signed Santa Fe Exhibition Poster 1992 "La Dulce"

Considered to be one of the greatest of Native American painters, R.C. Gorman has never been shy or accused of hiding is works beneath any bushel. He’s prolific and his works are extremely popular.

On some occasions, usually at gallery exhibitions, he has inscribed and signed, or just signed an exhibition poster. In this case he signed this at one of his exhibitions at the famous Rio Grande gallery in Santa Fe, most likely in 1992, the year of this charming work entitled “La Dulce”.

It is unusual to find this framed, and framed so attractively in white. Monetarily, you’re probably saving $100.00. It’s in perfect condition and inscribed very whimsically and wittingly “ To Judith, You can sign my name anytime” –RC Gorman

The overall size (framed) is 30” W x 27” H. (The litho is just a tad under that) . It has been professionally mounted and framed in a metal white frame; back paper intact with wire hanger, it can be hung immediately. Pencil signed, the colors are vibrant and bright. There are NO issues; the poster is in excellent condition. This is a very nice collectible that will become increasingly hard to obtain since, Gorman has been called "the Picasso of American Indian Art", died in 2005. His works characteristically featured Navajo women and children.   He was also known for his bronzes, oils and pastels. ’d been based in Taos since 1968.
