1. Take the back off your phone. Most backs simply slide off. All you have to do is press down slightly and slide the back off toward the base of the phone.

2. Take the battery out of your phone by lifting one end with your fingernail. The battery usually lifts right out.   
   3. Find the white sticker with black lettering inside your phone, where the battery was seated. You will see a heading called "Model Name." There you will find the name of your phone. Underneath you will also see the model number and the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number. The model number designates your model and the IMEI identifies your specific handset.
