Item description for Vintage Flower Green Rhinestone Pearl Heart Brooch Pin Open Work Petal

This is a lovely vintage delicate gold tone flower brooch or pin with a faux pearl center and six (6) round emerald green rhinestones that are prong set on the spoke like stem. The petals of the flower are layered and make it very dimensional. There are three layers and the underneath layer has the shape of an abstract heart. The layers are riveted together. Some of the petals are solid and alternate with open work petals. It is unsigned with no maker’s mark. It measures approximately 2 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide.

It is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished the brooch, there are some tiny spots that only show up with magnification that are under the layered petals. There are a couple of fine lines or ripples in the gold metal on the petals, these are original to the piece and part of the creation, not damage . The green rhinestones are clear and bright and the gold finish has a nice shine. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would make a great addition to your collection of vintage or figural jewelry. It will be a touch of elegance on any outfit. Perfect with that little black dress or with your favorite pair of jeans.
