Appleton and Co. of the 1893-94 World's Fair in Chicago -- Limited Edition of 1,000 copies, "The Art of the World, Illustrated in Printings, Statuary, and Architecture of the World's Columbian Exposition" featuring scenes of the fair and commissioned works of art. Lower right corner is inscribed, "Typogravure en couleurs Boussod, Valadon & Cie., Paris." Reverse side is blank. Publisher D. Appleton states the selection of prints within the folio "presents the highest achievement of modern art, reproduced by unequaled processes." The full page measures approximately 12.5 x 16.5. The desired framing area will be smaller. Shipped very loosely rolled to safeguard print and prohibit creasing.
