For your consideration is an antique set of fireplace tools.  This set has the holder which looks like it held more at one time by the hangers on the sides, maybe a billow and a brush.  The inside is divided into two sections.  Right now it has two pokers in it.  One looks complete with the round ball top and is 15 3/8" long and the other looks like it was repaired or replaced.  It looks like the top is missing a piece and the bottom looks like someone has forged a piece to put on the bottom as it is not straight and it looks like it was added.  It is 13 1/4" long.  I believe this may be English as the estate was mostly from England as the couple lived in Scotland for many years.  The holder is 12 1/4" tall and 4 3/4" wide and 2 3/4" deep at the bottom.  I believe this is brass from the color.  I have not tried to clean this piece and left it as found.  Lots of patina which adds to its antique charm.  What a unique piece.
