You are consider the Canon AE-1 35mm SLR with its genuine Canon brand FD 50 mm f/1.8 SC lens seen in the picture. This AE-1 camera is in great condition with signs of light (VERY light), careful use. It's got several paint rubs in the usual places but there are absolutely no dents or dings that I can see. Features include three exposure modes, a self-timer, shutter speeds ranging from 2 seconds to 1/1000 of a second plus B, a  battery check light, DOF (Depth Of Field) preview button, a backlight compensation mode and more. This is a great first camera for your budding photography student to learn with. It will also make a fine addition to your collection. It has been in mine for years but I am running out of room (I have perhaps 125 different cameras! YIKES!) so it has to go to a new home where it will be appreciated for what it is; a fine imaging machine. Of course, everything works as new. I'm asking $59.
