ReplacementRadios, one of the largest factory audio/video websites, has branched out!! If you’ve been to our site, you know we have a HUGE selection of OEM radios and compatible accessories. Now we’re offering a few select products here too. Same great ReplacementRadios quality.....in a new location.
This is a listing for one button!! ONE. It is the AM FM button circled in the picture. (It can be used in place of the BAND button too.) We show you the face only to help you identify the application. You are not getting the face or any other buttons.
GM radios have a reputation for horrible button wear. If you're in need of a button to replace your worn BAND button on a GM Car/SUV CD radio from the applications listed below, you've come to the right place. This is a brand new AM FM button. It is also a direct replacement for the BAND button found in those same vehicles as well. It works on U1C, UN0 an US8 single CD radios from the vehicles listed here, as well as the UC6 CD6 radio. (Those are option codes. You can find yours on the sticker in your glovebox.)
Don't settle for cheap aftermarket stickers that are clearly identifiable as such and are subject to wrinkling and peeling. Spend a little extra time and money to do it right. Replace the buttons with brand new originals!
This is for one AM FM button only. Not the entire face. Not an entire button set. Our ad is accurate and thorough, so you should be able to tell if you're getting the right thing if you simply read it. For this reason, returns are not accepted.
Installation instructions are not included. You shouldn't be repairing a radio if you're not qualified. Do NOT attempt to replace any radio parts with the radio still plugged in the vehicle!! Unplug it and let it sit a minimum of 30 minutes before working on it!
APPLICATION CHART
This works in place of the AM FM or BAND button on U1C, UN0, US8 and UC6 radios in the following vehicles:
- Chevrolet Equinox: 2005-2006
- Chevrolet Malibu: 2004-2006 (Except Malibu Classic)
- Pontiac G6: 2005-2006
- Pontiac Torrent: 2006
You should NOT attempt this repair with the radio plugged in. A short can result. Make sure you unplug your radio from the vehicle harness and let it sit for at least 30 minutes! Theftlock will NOT be activated since your VIN is stored in memory in the radio.
