Beautiful weighted carved wood and painted fish decoy. Measures ~7" long, ~1 5/8" at its widest (at the front fins), and about ~2 1/4" at its highest (where the back fin is located). The piece weighs about 2 ounces. The decoy is in excellent condition, with no breaks, or repairs. The piece has a few scratches, a few minor dings to the surface, and some minor losses to the paint especially along the edges. The piece has some wear at the edges of the tail and losses of paint to the fins. It appears that someone has glued a nylon fishing string to the decoy's mouth to hang it from. We did not attempt to remove this line and we are selling the piece as we acquired it. The piece is relatively clean and the colors are still vivid. A true beauty worthy of a spot in your collection.
