The Suspense TV show was based on the radio program of the same name. It began its run on TV in 1949. Many great stars of radio, television and the silver screen appeared on the show. In these four shows, for example, you’ll find James Whitmore, Walter Matthau, Franchot Tone, and in an episode of The Visitor, based on Suspense, is a very young Charles Buchinski, (Charles Bronson).
