This is a holiday pin from Boyds Bears and Friends and is is marked so with a paw print and the year 2002.  It is a star shape and I am fairly certain these were hand painted.  It is a ceramic material so if it is dropped it will break.  It is 2 1/4 inches in all directions.  The pin works well.
